Howdy, this is Sandra here. I was on DeviantART twice before, but quit both times because I no longer felt inspired enough to draw. Now I'm back and back to drawing as well, even though I've been out of it for 2 years. I generally draw portraits, be it in realistic or manga style. I'm still trying to learn a lot, but hopefully if I keep up with drawing this time I can improve a lot. On the whole, this blog will be mainly for me: an online place to keep my art together, so to speak. And DeviantART is still the best platform for that.
I'm a 19 year old Dutch girl who majors in German and studies French on the side as well, who also happens to have a huge interest in Arthurian Legend & theater. I play piano, draw (obviously!), read and am a huge fan of Disney, Lord Of The Rings & Harry Potter.
I'm that person who makes sudokus when she's stressed, who prefers daydreaming to actually doing something, retreats into books whenever she can, prefers instrumental music unless songs have really good lyrics, lives by memories and cares more for her friends than anything else. My favourite TV shows of all time are Project Runway and Doctor Who. The 9th Doctor is my favourite. Aragorn (LOTR), Éowyn (LOTR) & Sirius Black (HP) are my other favourite characters. I very much love Viggo Mortensen, and I guess that's all you need to know. ;)

Hey all!
It's been almost a month, but I'm back here. ^__^ I've tried to catch up on my messages, I may not have replied to everything (for which I'm sorry), but there were more messages than I'd anticipated. ^___^;
But yes, I finished uni for now, and I have holidays! I've passed all my subjects (and did very well, if I may say so) and am now enjoying my well-deserved holidays. It was a wonderful year, I met many great and interesting people and I'll just keep my fingers crossed next year will be as nice as this year. I will miss everyone dearly, but obviously I'm very happy to get a bit of rest now and get back to doing things that I love

Hello all!
I'm not really a person for journals, but what do you know. I just wanted to write a journal to tell you guys about what I will be doing, it seemed only fair! I think I will spend most of my time that I can spend on drawing on sketching mostly, so you may not see many updates from me soon.. the birthday drawings were sadly rushed things since uni is so very busy, but I guess they came out alright. I want to spend more time on my next drawings and hopefully it will show! I'm planning to work on shading and anatomy, since those are some of my weak points (..my biggest problem however is perspective, but hey, one step at a time..). I

Nice webcam , from what movie it is?
It's not from a movie, but a TV series, actually! It's Emilia Clarke as Daenerys from the TV show "Game Of Thrones", currently being broadcast on HBO (in the USA). It's quite wonderful, and I think she's absolutely stunning. Also, she plays my favourite character =')
